About XCodex

This website was launched by the XCodex Foundation, to freely inform you about Nano minerals and their benefits for your health. Due to European restrictions regarding the production and promotion of particularly these types of minerals, their manufacturers are not allowed to promote these products or even inform you about them. These restrictions have been instituted by the Codex Alimentarius Commission, which we describe in more details below.

The XCodex Foundation was established with the mission to return to people their inalienable  right to choose the nutrition and medication they think is best for their health. We believe that no agency or law should dictate what’s “good for us.”

The Codex Alimentarius Commission

The Codex Alimentarius Commission, Latin for “food code,” is an inter-governmental body that sets guidelines and standards to ensure “fair trade practicess”  and consumer protection in relation to the global trade of food. It was established for this purpose in 1963 and has more than 40 years’ experience in controlling food in an ever-more globalized world. Currently the Codex Alimentarius Commission has: 186 Codex Members – 185 Member Countries and 1 Member Organization (EU) as well as 230 Codex Observers – 52 IGOs, 162 NGOs, 16 UN organizations.

Codex standards and guidelines now exist for virtually all foods. While the adoption by countries of these standards and guidelines is theoretically optional, it leaves the 186 members little or no option but to comply with them. This effectively means that the activities of Codex now directly affect the vast majority of people on the planet. Significantly, the evidence is inescapable that Codex is increasingly putting economic interests – and particularly those of the pharmaceutical and chemical industries – before human health.

Dictating Your Health

The Codex Alimentarius Commission controls not just food, but also vitamin and mineral food supplements, organic foods and the promotion of health benefits to name a few. While supplements and foods that are proven to be healthy are restricted, the Codex recently opened up an unrestricted freeway for genetically modified foods and dubious and unnatural agricultural practices. As a result, the global enforcement of these guidelines would ensure that the sale of therapeutic health products remains the exclusive province of the pharmaceutical industry

Taking a Stand

Codex is not an easy subject to get to grips with. With over 20 committees meeting on an annual basis, and published reports comprising a total of over 1,400 pages in 2005 alone, most people are blissfully unaware of the extent to which its activities affect their health.

The difficulty in influencing Codex is likely to be the result of deliberately engineered decision-making process that prevents or at least greatly complicates individuals’ capacity to exert their democratic right. There are many examples to show that misinformation on Codex has acted as a smoke screen to conceal genuine complaints, and this enables politicians and bureaucrats to have a reason to reject people’s concerns.

How you spend your money is one of the most powerful ways of bringing change. Do not buy or eat processed foods, GM foods, or foods containing food additives wherever possible. Try to buy or cultivate organic foods or foods to which pesticides have not been applied. Support local based food production systems.  Purchase supplements that are known to bring results and are based on sound science.

Who We Are

We are a concerned group of individuals, healthcare professionals and health product manufacturers who have followed the growing threat of food and supplement dictatorship and have allied ourselves to break the monopoly of the Codex Alimentarius.

What We Do

We conduct public awareness campaigns to educate people on the effects of the Codex Alimentarius to their health and to prevent widespread future mayhem caused by GM foods.

Our Mission is to bring an end to the suppressive influence of the Codex Alimentarius in the lives of billions of people. We don’t need government or laws to tell us what to eat or to live healthy lives.

Support those who want to give you the power over your own life, the decisions regarding your own health, and the freedom to think and act as was granted to us by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care…” – Article 25
